Animal Psychology

Do you read the newspaper and watch the news and sometimes wonder why people can’t just get along? I mean, it’s not like we get up in the morning and decide we’d like to go out and shoot or bomb somebody that day, is it? That’s why I thought you might like to see how it might look if we could all just live and let live like the animals in this video.

Thanks to Bobbie in California for letting me know about it! Here’s what she said:  This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn’t have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat!

The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches. The Mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a holiday card.

  1. Good morning. RYN: whitehouse.com takes you to the unofficial whitehouse blog which has now been moved to a more powerful server and new address. LOL Whitehouse.gov is changing. When I first found that site, it wasn’t a political place but instead covered the history of the White House. Now it covers the inhabitants. lol

Yes, if they can all get along, so can all of us. Wouldn’t you think? Thanks.

  2. So white house dot come has changed then, since Billy Clinton was letting it all hang out. I typed in that url because I wanted to send a message to Hillary and what I got instead was a porn site. Thankfully they must have been closed down.

It's always nice to know what you're thinking...
