In stark contrast to the old red light district, we were amazed at the number of churches thriving in Butte. It’s not clear whether there were so many there when all the mines were running, but there are churches on almost every corner and sometimes right next door to each other.

Goodness. Clear air, folks who care, and a lovely neighborhood. What more can you want in a trip. We are doing a road trip later this summer, and unfortunatly we have to drive longer each day.
