In our lives there are moments of great beauty that are so fragile, so transitory, that to experience them is pure joy. To share them is to know the essence of living (GWEN JAMES)
Nice to hear from you again Marlys. I’ve been wondering if you’ve moved into the new high-rise yet. ‘Been looking forward to reading about the new diggs, and flowers for the balcony are always so pretty. I love those I’ve seen in European cities. They’re just as beautiful as flower-covered hillsides.
No, Alice, I haven’t moved yet. I expect the move to come in the fall, after it’s too late to plant flowers, but in the meantime, I have a balcony on my present mid-rise residence as well. Unfortunately, I don’t have a “green thumb.”
Nice to hear from all of you. Flowers make such a difference after a long, relentless winter. Now I once again have sunshine in my soul and spring in my step. Thanks for stopping by.
What a lovely sight! Your photo inspires me to plant some flowers in my city balcony window boxes. Thanks.

I love yellow in the garden, even on a dull day it brings sunshine to my heart.
I’m so glad to see spring has finally come to you. Enjoy!

Wow….these are really pretty! And to think they’re wild flowers. I’d be over there picking bouquets of them.
